The Graduates

London, UK (Jan 28, 2010) - Arrows Group Healthcare division went from strength to strength in 2009, in part due to the division’s commitment to expansion and to the development of new talent in-house through the market-leading Arrows Group training programme. This growth is set to continue throughout 2010, and as part of that, the division recently took on a number of new graduate staff: Deepanjali Jadeja, Daniel Opoku and Rashmi Punja.

In addition to these three new graduate staff, the Healthcare division also recently welcomed Thea Mellinis to the team. Thea joins Arrows Group from Harriet Ellis, and will look after permanent placements within Arrows Group Healthcare division, including roles for Doctors, Theatre Managers and Senior Nurses across the UK.

Here’s a little about each of our new hires:

Deepanjali is excited to begin her career in recruitment at Arrows Group. Before joining the team, Deepanjali found work as a model, and says the highlight of this was modeling on the cover of Asian Woman magazine. She supports Arsenal (so she should fit right in) and is into minimal techno music.

Daniel has taken on his role at Arrows Group as a first step in what we predict will be a bright future in recruitment. He has shown his commitment and people management skills through his work in his local community as a youth leader at his church. However, it’s not all about his work and volunteering: Daniel also loves playing Fifa on the Xbox in his spare time. The only problem we can find with him is that he supports Man United!

Rashmi is our new resident gym freak. She’s a vegetarian and avid football player whose focus and drive will be excellent qualities in her new career at Arrows Group Healthcare. Rashmi went to Uxbridge University and did a degree in psychology, so we’re also sure she’ll have the edge in understanding the needs and the underlying requirements of both clients and candidates. We’re also glad to confirm that she’s another Arsenal fan (good girl!)

Finally, Thea comes to us from Harriet Ellis where she developed her existing skills as a recruiter. She decided to join Arrows Group Healthcare because of the reputation of the team within the sector, the calibre of the colleagues she would be working with and the balance of professional and personal satisfaction that is offered at Arrows Group. A recruiter to the core, Thea is looking forward to building relationships with new clients and, above all, pushing herself to make as many successful placements as she possibly can.

Every new member of the team brings an additional mix of traits and experiences that will be invaluable to Arrows Group Healthcare division. For Rangeeta Bhamra, division manager, these new hires mean that the team can “continue to provide the highest quality services to existing clients and focus on developing new relationships with additional clients.” She says, “all of the new graduate staff will now be undertaking a complete induction programme to onboard them with the skills and information they will need to meet the high standards we set here at Arrows Group. I’m personally looking forward to working with every new member of the team, and I’m sure that they will each add a great deal of value to our already highly respected division.”
