The Market's Growing, and so is Arrows Group's Finance Division

London, UK (Apr 26, 2010) - This month Arrows Group’s Finance Division is excited to welcome a new member to the team: Sophie Hendley. Just 19, Sophie is from South East London and joins Arrows Group after a period of travelling throughout Asia and South America.

Since deciding to seek a career in sales, Sophie homed in on recruitment as an option which combined the high-energy, commission-driven world of sales with the human element of meeting new people and working closely with clients and candidates.

She joins Arrows Group’s Finance Division as a Trainee Consultant, having chosen Arrows Group over another recruitment firm from which she had also received an offer. This was not because of differences in salary or commission structure, she says, but because of the positive impression she got of Arrows Group from her first interview. Over the course of her interviews with Arrows Group, Sophie met every member of the Finance Division team, and it is this personal, welcoming approach that she says tipped her in favour of Arrows Group.

Outside work, Sophie loves playing Netball as a Goal Attack, as well as listening to music and going to live gigs. Her favourite band at the moment is Babyshambles.

“We’re very glad Sophie has chosen to join us,” says Richard Pitts, Manager of Arrows Group’s Finance Division. “We were very impressed by her natural tenacity and her quick understanding of the financial market and the work we do. She has a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude which fits in perfectly with the approach we aim to foster in our team, and she has the ambition to achieve real success.

 “I know that within six months to a year Sophie will be wanting to swap the ‘trainee’ in her title for ‘senior’, and I’m confident that her work will show that this is something she deserves. We’re excited to have her on board.”
