Operations Manager / VMware / Storage / Cloud / OPS Engineer / Amstelveen (Amsterdam)

A market leading Managed Hosting company, specialised in complex cloud environments and based in Amstelveen, is looking for an Operations Manager of 3+ years Experience.

This is a “hands-on” role with management responsibility. Therefore the successful candidate will need to help solve problems, tickets, incidents with the OPS team and be capable of management and motivating them. This requires a person with high energy and enthusiasm for both cloud & VMware technologies and management.

The successful candidate will have the following relevant skills:

• 5-10 years of experience in handling mission critical incidents
• In depth knowledge of VMware technology, Storage Technologies, Windows platforms/servers, networks and managed hosting environment (cloud)
• full technical background combined with managing a team
• very energetic
• positive attitude
• motivation skills
• people manager
• dealing with very well skilled support engineers
